SAFELOOP was well-represented at the BATTERY 2030+ annual conference, held May 7-8 in Turin, Italy. This prestigious event serves as a central hub for discussing and advancing battery innovation across Europe.
During the conference, our partners from ISPE presented an engaging poster highlighting our innovative approaches to EV battery safety. Meanwhile our Innovation Managers from HHL, focused on building strong collaborations and networking with diverse stakeholders to help accelerate the market adoption of SAFELOOP’s solutions.
A key highlight of the event was a joint session on the functional safety of EV batteries, where our coordinators from the University of Oulu joined forces with SAFELOOP's sister projects, INERRANT and SAGELi. This collaborative effort provided an excellent platform to discuss integrated safety strategies and explore synergies across European research initiatives.

SAFELOOP remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of functional safety for Gen3 Li-ion batteries. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our work toward a safer, sustainable electric mobility future!
