We are delighted to announce that the SAFELOOP project was recently featured at the 22nd International Conference on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (NN25), held from July 8–11 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

SAFELOOP partners, the American Energy Technologies Company and the Institute of Sorption and Problems of Endoecology, collaborated to present their innovative work in battery recycling:

“Production of high-purity nanostructured Ni-Co alloy and other valuable products by recycling spent lithium-ion batteries”

This technology demonstration is a key part of our effort to advance sustainable battery solutions. Notably, a portion of this research was supported under the Horizon Europe Programme through the SAFELOOP agreement, and it also benefits from alignment with the STREAMS project, a fellow initiative within the Battery2030+ partnership.

This successful presentation marks yet another significant milestone in our journey towards fostering battery innovation in Europe!
